The intent of COMMENT & WIN is to increase the number of Services comments and suggestions from customers.  Our rules allow all eligible participants an equal opportunity to be a winner. In our efforts to maintain program integrity, any violations of the rules, or intent to deceive, may result in a loss of eligibility to win.

ELIGIBILITY: COMMENT & WIN eligibility is IAW AFI 34-262, Services Program and Use Eligibility. As such, it is open to active duty members of the Armed Forces and their family members; DoD civilians and their family members; contractors; retired military members and their family members; honorably discharged veterans with 100% service connected disability and their family members; and former and/or surviving military spouses and their family members in PACAF.  “Family members,” except spouses, must be under the age of 18, or under the age 21 if they are enrolled full-time in secondary education.  Family members under the age of 18 may enter only with the consent of their sponsor.  Must be 18 or older on date of entry to win some prizes, or prize must be accepted by sponsor.

Services marketing staff, squadron commanders, directors, deputy directors, flight/division chiefs, activity managers and supervisors are not eligible for any prize.

PROMOTION PERIOD: During the promotion,1 March 2007 to 30 September 2007, all Services comments and suggestions submitted online through ICE or through hard-copy comment cards located in  Services activities.

PRIZES:  Each month, Services will award $250 in Services bucks to the person that submits the best suggestion on a comment card (online via ICE or hard copy comment card located in Services activities).  Additionally, Services will randomly draw a Services comment card (online or hard copy) and award $100 in Services bucks to the person who submitted that card. 

Odds of winning in the random drawing are based on overall participation.  Winners must be current eligible users of Services programs at the time they are chosen.  If they are no longer eligible users, prizes will be awarded to an alternate.  Winners are responsible for any applicable federal, state, or local taxes.

Any prize not claimed within fourteen (14) days after notification will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner.

PRIZE RESTRICTIONS: Prizes cannot be transferred. No substitution or exchange (including for cash) of any prize will be permitted.  Prize won by a minor may be awarded to parent/legal guardian.

SUGGESTION GUIDELINES:  The suggestion must be financially reasonable, a good investment with a reasonable return, e.g., Outdoor Recreation cannot purchase a yacht.

Services must also be able to accomplish the suggestion within six months.  The suggestion must be for a Services controlled program.

NOTIFICATION AND DELIVERY: PACAF Services will make reasonable efforts to notify winners within fourteen days of award date. If the winner is unable or unwilling to accept the award, or if PACAF Services cannot affect delivery because the winner has not provided contact information, the prize will go to the next eligible winner.

ACCEPTING PRIZES: Winners (and winner’s parent/legal guardian, if winner is a minor) by acceptance of prize grant permission for PACAF Services and official sponsors to use his/her name, photograph, voice and/or likeness, for advertising and/or publicity purposes without additional compensation.

MISCELLANEOUS: Privacy Act Information. We respect your privacy. We will not disclose individual names or email addresses to third parties without your consent.
