Tour de Hickam-Cycling Incentive Program
July 1-31, 2009
Rules: Pick up log sheets at any scheduled spinning class or at the Fitness Center front desk. Log your own time and miles and complete the Tour de Hickam.
Goal: 700 miles by July 31 (each person that crosses 700 miles will get a t-shirt). One spin session will give you 25 miles. Actual mileage for road and/or lifecycle stationary bike (mile for mile).
There will be first, second, and third place prizes. Redeem log sheet at the Hickam Fitness Center from desk by August 3 to claim prize. For more information please call 448-2214. |

Check in: 5 a.m. - Start Time: 6 a.m.
Race Pack Pick-up: August 13-14 from 12-6 p.m.

Registration Fee: Early Registration (Now-Aug 7)
$25 with a T-shirt/$15 without a T-Shirt
Late Registration: (August 8 - Day of Event)
$35 with a T-shirt / $20 without a T-shirt

Personal Training A certified fitness professional will work one-on-one with you to help you achieve and exceed your fitness goals. During your training, a customized exercise program is designed for you that you will meet your level of fitness, special needs and time constraints. You also recieve basic nutrition infomation to enhance your fitness program and round out a healthy lifestyle. You'll be eligible for enrollment and personalized support through Fitlinxx.

Massage Therapy
There is a 24 hour cancellation policy.
All appointments not met will be charged.
Please arrive 15 minutes early for personal massage services.

Intramural & Varsity Sports
Intramural Sports include but are not limited to: basketball, volleyball, soccer, softball, and flag football.
The Varsity Program is designed to provide elite athletes an opportunity to participate in higher level competition.

Age Requirements
Patrons 16 years of age and up have unrestricted use of the facility; 14 and 15 years of age require interactive parental supervision in the cardio/weight room, but have unrestricted use in all other areas; youth 13 and under are prohibited from using the cardio/weight rooms, but are allowed in the basketball and racquetball courts with interactive parental supervision. Use of the facility is free for all eligible ID card holders. |

Basic Strength Training
Wednesday and Saturday ~ 2-3 p.m.
The Hickam Fitness and Sports Center is offering strength training sessions which will help you achieve or maintain a healthier you! Increased metabolic rate, improved balance, increased lean muscle mass and injury prevention are just some of the benefits of strength training. Please call the Fitness Center at 449-2214 to sign up or stop by the customer service desk. Please fill out the questionnaire below and bring it to the Fitness Center.
