The Royal Alaka'i offers outstanding accommodations at rock bottom prices! Our property offers all of the standards necessary to comply with Air Force Inns' promise and meets Air Force Inns' standards. We offer televisions, microwaves, coffee service, room service, a conference room, data ports, computers with internet access, business suites, family suites, cable and at a convenient location. Royal Alaka'i customers consist of active duty military TDY and PCS personnel, hospital patients, Air Guard, reservists and retired personnel on leisure travel and their respective family members.
High Speed Internet is available in all guest rooms.
Single/Group TDY Reservations
Reservations at Hickam Air Force Base are prioritized by the category of the traveler. Personnel traveling on official orders (i.e. TDY to Hickam or PCS to/from Hickam) are considered Priority 1 and may make a reservation at any time prior to their travel date. There are a lot more travelers than there are rooms; therefore, some guests may be occomodated in commercial lodging (off base).
PCS Reservations
Reservations for families or individuals that PCS IN can be made for up to 30 nights. A maximum of 10 nights can be made for individuals or families that PCS out of Hickam AFB. If space is not available, a TLA Authorization Letter to stay in commercial lodging (off base) can be obtained from the Front Desk upon submission of PCS Orders. Space Available
Personnel traveling in a non-duty status or those with official orders to other installations in the area are considered “Space Available” or Priority 2. "Space Available", Priority 2, individuals may make reservations up to 72 hours prior to their arrival at Hickam, providing that space is available. Initially, Priority 2 guests are allowed to stay in lodging for up to 3 nights. After 3 nights, Priority 2 guests may extend their stay daily if the space is available. Priority 2 guests are not authorized Commercial Lodging. Please contact our offices if you have any questions regarding priority.
Important Note: Your reservation is not confirmed until you receive a confirmation number. Do not assume you have a reservation until you have been contacted and given a confirmation number.
